Former Shrimoni Akali Dal president Sukhwinder Singh Badal survived an assassination attempt at the Golden Temple while performing ‘Seva’. The assailant, Narain Singh Chaura, was apprehended by police. Despite the attempt, Badal will continue his religious penance.
