MPSC Postpones Civil Services Prelims Exam; Students Demand Inclusion of Agri Posts

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has postponed the Maharashtra Gazetted Civil Services Combined Preliminary Examination 2024, initially scheduled for August 25, following protests by government-job aspirants. The protest, joined by MLA Rohit Pawar and NCP leader Sharad Pawar, centers on the exclusion of 258 Agriculture Services posts. Although the exam date has been deferred, candidates continue to demand the inclusion of these posts. MPSC plans to hold a separate exam for Agriculture Services in late October.
