India celebrates International Cheetah Day with the release of two male cheetahs into the wild

Two male cheetahs, Agni and Vayu, were released into the wild at Kuno National Park on International Cheetah Day. This marks a significant step in India’s cheetah reintroduction project, aiming to restore the population after 70 years. Kuno now houses 24 cheetahs, including 12 cubs, offering closer encounters for tourists.
