Himachal CM Launches New Nutrition Scheme for Over 5 Lakh Schoolchildren

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu launched the Mukhyamantri Bal Paushtik Aahar Yojana, aimed at providing additional nutrition to over 5.34 lakh students from nursery to Class 8 in government schools. The initiative, which complements the midday meal scheme, will offer boiled eggs or fruits once a week. Sukhu also announced the distribution of tablets to 17,510 primary school teachers to enhance digital learning and administrative efficiency in schools across the state.
